This service derives from Nigel’s experience as Head of the Commercial and Public Buildings section of the UK government’s Building Research Energy Consumption Support Unit, supplemented with a wide range of consultancy commissions for Commercial and Institutional clients, for the European Union on Energy Policy (with EuroACE) and the Transport Implications of Buildings.  He also chaired committees drafting guidance for the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (Energy Audits and Surveys, Contract Energy Management and Maintenance for Energy Efficiency).  He was also invited by (then) Prince Charles to present on Housing Energy and Environmental impacts at Highgrove:
